Things are moving along today!!

We have many projects going on at our house right now! They are all leading up to the baby boy that we get to meet in about a month. :)

1.  Our house painters showed up at 8:15 am and by 2 pm, they declared the job DONE!! Our house looks great! We had the whole things painted plus the trim (which has never been done before.)  These painters were great! They were here every night this last week working on it until dark and were here all day yesterday. I would highly recommend them!! We gave them a check plus a nice gift card to a restaurant as an added bonus.

2.  Matt did go get a rug doctor this afternoon, so he is busy cleaning carpets upstairs!! He is going to do the playroom, Christian's room, the hallway upstairs, and then come downstairs and do the living room and piano room.  Yay for fresh, clean carpets!!

3. The woodwork for the window in Christian's room is going to get replaced tomorrow morning. Our window company had to come take it off and redo it because not only were two pieces wrong, but they were also put on crooked.  This is the final step and then we can move Christian into that room!!

4.  After we get Christian moved out of his current room, I would like to do a few paint touch-ups on the walls and then we are ready to get the crib up and all the baby stuff out. :)

5.  I did forget the new shades we ordered a couple of weeks ago have to go up too.  These are going in Christian's new and old room and on five windows in our bedroom.  I think this is the next project after the carpets get cleaned today.

6.  In addition to these projects, we have a door to the attic that has needed to be stained for about five years now! Matt finally decided to stain that! YIPPEE!

7.  Don't forget the new curtains by the front door and the bathroom that we had done this last week.
Those areas sure look better now!

Anyway, off to keep cleaning the living room, so we can clean that carpet, it's going to be a mess!!
