I went and saw the hematologist yesterday about my low platelet count. She said that it is ok for the moment. All we are going to do is watch them, she would like me to come in about every three weeks and check my count. She said if they are low when it comes close to my due date, she wants to put me on steroids to get them up. She said this is the safest thing to do while one is pregnant.
That was about all I got out of my appointment yesterday! (I wonder how much that cost!)
