We are coming to the end of our study on Australian animals. We are going to be looking at the animals of the southern forest tomorrow.
This includes the Tasmanian devils (not the one from Looney Tunes!) and the platypus. We are going to go over some printouts from enchantedlearning.com to learn about these two animals.
We are then going to use our ZooBook magazines to go over more about the koala bear and finally we are going to watch this video on the Lyrebirds. Wow! Those birds are interesting!!

Our next section are animals in the arctic and Antarctica! This is the section in our book that Courtney has been waiting for because it includes penguins!
