Tomorrow we are going to be looking at animals of the northern coast of Australia. We are almost finished with our study of animals from around the world.

Our first animal is the bird of paradise.

Look at pictures of cassowary birds.

The last bird we are going to be looking at is the Bowerbird.  These guys compete for mates by building complicated structures and decorating them!

We are going to look at pictures of bower bird nests, especially the satin bower birds. They collect anything blue to put in their nests because the ladies like blue. :)
