In addition to the grasshopper Courtney brought home on Tuesday from bug camp, today she brought home a real, live worm!!! They actually went outside and dug up these worms during camp this morning.
Tomorrow they are studying fish, anybody think they will send a fish home with the kids tomorrow??
Tonight Courtney was telling her worm not to crawl out of his little styrofoam cup overnight. She said, "Now don't you worry your little heart out, I know you have five of them, but don't even worry from one." Is that true? Do worms really have five hearts??
She told Matt tonight, "I really love bug camp!"
(She has actually been thinking about releasing her grasshopper "back into nature" today. I'm not sure how long it will live in her little pop bottle.)
