After searching the Internet, I could not find a short unit study that we could use this week to learn about Thanksgiving, so I am going to make up my own!
I found one that I can base some thoughts off of, but I am not going to use it exactly as it says I should.

Instead of taking nine days like it says we should, we are going to condense it to four!
Day 1: Pilgrims and Puritans

The Mayflower1

Day 2- Native People

Day 3- The First Thanksgiving and Proclamation

Day 4- Scripture and how it is related to Thanksgiving (which we will do on Thanksgiving!)
This is going to take a little bit more planning on my part, but I think it is doable.
We also visited Plymouth, Massachusetts last September, so we always can rely on our pictures and the stories we heard there!
