I ended up going in to the dentist yesterday to get my root canal evaluated. They took an xray and sure enough, there was an abcess on the root of my root canal that was done 2 1/2 years ago!
They referred me to a root canal specialist and hopefully I can get in before we leave. They also gave me a prescription for antibiotics. I then asked them why they didn't pick this up last November when I was in (I had the xray done at the orthodontist about the same time.) They showed me my xrays from that time and you can see those teeth, but you cannot see the root of the root canal. The picture is cut off right when my roots start! If only!!!
So now to call the specialist, which I didn't get done yesterday because I was too busy giving a birthday party to Courtney!!
