After finding out a couple of weeks ago that our camper was totalled by the hail, we now know we need a new roof, gutters, and all accessories on our house! Yikes!
Matt was not really concerned with our roof right after the hail storm, but lately, we have seen a lot of roofing companies in our neighborhood and many signs going up in front of houses. We had a guy stop by last night from a certain company (he just saw matt outside and walked up to the house). He inspected our house and said we had damage. Matt got on the roof and looked at the wood shake shingles and this guy showed him how they were split. We also walked around and saw all the paint chipped around the windows and dents in our gutters. Yep, plenty of damage on our house! Here comes a new roof, new gutters, and some new paint!
So now we get to call insurance back up- I'm sure glad they know us there!
PS We are getting the camper out for our first camping trip this season and Matt is finding even more stuff missing from when it was broken into! Like our weather radio and another big extension cord. I would sure like to know where all our stuff is right now!
