School got cancelled today for the private and public schools around town. I could've guessed it and I'm not sure why they just didn't call it off last night. The streets are slick, snow is 9 inches deep, and nobody has had a chance to get out and clean off sidewalks and driveways- unless you count my neighbor who was out there at 10:00 last night.
Our kids are still going to have school!
Now who is going to get out of school first, us or them? As of now it looks like we are going to be done right before Memorial Day. It looks like Millard will be going three days past Memorial Day- they are adding days onto the school year now as make up snow days. Reminds me of Megan's kindergarten year!
What happened to spring and our 50 degree weather? Oh yah, it will be back on Thursday!
