This week in preschool, Courtney has been learning about fire prevention.
Tonight she said, "Mom, I really want to play matches, but my teacher tells me I shouldn't anymore."
I had to think twice on this comment. "Matches" is what we call the game "Memory" around here.
This is what I was thinking about at first, but after I put it together that she was learning about fire prevention, it all made sense. Her teacher told her not to play "with matches," not the game "matches."
Got it?
That was cute!
